Just got a screen when I opened the app. Something like "welcome to the new features..." App was not updated, watch is still on 188.58. Why would they highlight something that's not there?

@tcat007 Fitbit is making the Daily Readiness Score free to users of certain devices, including the Charge 5. Maybe that?

I'm sure it's that, just odd they'd show a splash screen in the app without it being live. 194.61 was released more than a year ago, and I still don't have it. We going to wait another year to get this next update? Their "announcements" don't seem to mean much.

@tcat007 I can't explain why you didn't receive that firmware update to 194.61. There were a few changes. It revamped the Exercise app and put all the workouts on the Charge 5. No more reordering your shortcuts in the Fitbit app. Your Daily Readiness Score will be available on the Charge 5, too. You might want this, now that it will be free to you. Some new clock faces were added to the Gallery. Plus, unspecified bug fixes. Please contact Support for more help. You might get an explanation for why you didn't receive it and advice on how to get it.
This is Fitbit's statement on firmware, "Our devices typically receive software updates for at least two years after they are last sold on Fitbit.com or the Google Store ..." The Charge 5 is still in that window, because the Charge 6 was released in 2023. I don't know if 194.91 will be the last or not.

Well, I went through "the steps", cleared cache and data and force stopped app (after signing out). Restarted the 5. Signed in and gave all the permissions. I now see a readiness score (calculating). So it seems the features are in the app, not the watch. App version 4.25.2. Watch is still 188.58, I'm guessing I won't see another update. Would be nice to see more watch faces, since several of the old ones are "unavailable".

@tcat007 It takes seven days to get a readiness score. Please contact Support using the link in my previous post if you want help getting the current firmware.
