Stop Wallet Setup Notification

On my Charge 5 device I keep receiving Notifications telling me to set up a Wallet for Fitbit Pay. I do not want to use Fitbit Pay so have no need for a Wallet thank you. So how can I turn off these Notifications?

Even reducing the Notification frequency from multiple times per day to once a month would be better.

Forcing multiple notifications per day for an app that people don't want is not a good incentive for them to carry on using, or recommending, a Fitbit device. Please fix this issue.

Agree completely. I made an earlier thread on this same issue, which also links to a much older thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/Disabling-quot-set-up-wallet-quot-notification-on-Charge-5/...

The much older thread, from August 2022: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/How-to-stop-add-card-notification/td-p/5221453

I've tried all sorts of things without success in disabling this notification (which occurs about 50% of the time when I open the app). I've just decided to not open the app unless absolutely necessary - I sync it once a day or so and prepare myself for the unwelcome buzz.

What kind of device is your app on? I'm using an iPhone and trying to see if this is an iOS issue or just affecting everyone. The notification is presumably intentional, but the frequency with which it is activating is probably a bug that they aren't in any hurry to fix.

Tonight mine started giving this notification about every 2 minutes. I’ve tried everything I can think of (except enter a card- NO THANKS). Doesn’t matter if the app is open. It is driving me nuts. There is no way I can wear it to bed doing this. Since the primary purpose of my fitbit is for sleep tracking, this glitch makes it useless to me!!

Mine actually stopped doing it after one of the big app updates, a few months after my post above. Did you recently update either the fitbit app or the software on the fitbit itself, that seemed to coincide with the appearance of the message? And are you getting it even if you don't sync with the app? Previously, mine was producing the message but only whenever I opened the fitbit app on iPhone, such that if I never synced with my phone, it wouldn't show the message (unless I swiped to the wallet by accident on the Charge 5).

I get this notification incessantly. I have not seen a solution from Fitbit
