Terrible Battery Life

After the Fitbit app updated last month my battery life for my Fitbit Charge 5 went from 6-7 days to less than 6 hours. My Charge 5 is now completely unusable. Support had no answers or solutions. They offered me a 50% off discount on a new fitbit however this excludes the new Fitbit Charge 6 and they no longer sell the Charge 5 so it is unusable.

After 3 FITBIT watches, my last dying yesterday, I am done. 3 watches in 5 years, they just dont last very long. The cost go up each time.

I am done, I enjoyed it but time is up.

I have the exact same problem. Before the update it was fine. 5 days battery easily even with workouts.  

Now it's 6-8 hours. And it goes black. A couple of times I managed to restart with the button on the charger. Now I changed the GPS setting. Last attempt before the shop.
