Won't pair

My Charge 5 is syncing again, but it won't pair, states I need the app; when I have the app installed.

I would make sure that your Fitbit app doesn't have an available upgrade available. It it does, fully disconnect your Charge 5 from your Bluetooth settings, upgrade/reinstall your Fitbit app, and then reconnect your Charge 5 device to Bluetooth. Your app should then prompt you to verify pairing your Charge 5 device. Sorry if this doesn't help.
