Can I turn off notifications while I'm using my phone?

I don't want to miss messages so I want notifications on for texts and messenger messages - but I don't need it to vibrate while I'm actively messaging with people or actively using my phone.

Is there a way to get notifications ONLY when my phone screen is off?

Not really. The CH6 isn't quite smart enough for that and doesn't know when you are using your phone or texting; it just parrots the notifications that are coming to your phone whenever that happens. You can, of course, turn on DND (do not disturb) - swipe down to get to it, and notifications stop while the CH6 is in sleep mode, but that's not quite what you want. Sorry. You can suggest it as feature in the product feedback forum, but I don't think the hardware is capable.
