Im having the same problem. Went wrong at start of the week. I can do workouts in the gym which my Fitbit 6, recognises and give all other data except cardio load. Everything says 0. I have done all the recommended things to reset etc but makes no difference. As I use the target cardio load it's important to know the figure per exercise so as to ensure correct / approx load is achieved to meet daily target.
I have the same problem so I track my own Cardio Load. I use the Bannister TRIMP formula (minutes x %hrr x 0.64 x e^(1.95 x %hrr). Use 1.67 for women. I do it in a Google Sheets spreadsheet using the EXP function to do the e exponent calculation. Once I set it up, all I need to enter is time and heart rate.
This problem shouldn't affect Target Load. AFAIK all your Cardio Load was captured and used in the Target Load calculation. The problem is that all the points were credited to General Activity and not your Logged Workout.
If you need to know the Cardio Load for your exercise, I put the formula in another post on this thread. I like to track mine and the formula tracks almost perfectly.
Mine's doing the same. It won't register the exercise types I've tried. I think "workout" is registering though inconsistently. It seemed to work when I was doing an actual exercise routine, which involved movement, but it didn't when I used it to see if I could record a session on an exercise bike (it didn't). The last time I know "spinning" was successfully registered was Sunday, Jan 18th.

Are you letting your Charge 6 automatically detect your workout or are you manually starting your workout on your Charge 6? If you are letting the device automatically detect your workout, that could be the problem. This help page (<-- click) has the list of activities that are automatically detected by your Charge 6.

Best AnswerMy Fitbit had an update I could apply plus the app updated a couple of days ago but still the same issue. "Workout" started and registered. "spinning" started but didn't register any cardio load despite similar pulse rates even if duration was only half of "workout". This is really annoying especially as it was all working recently. What could possibly have changed?
Best AnswerI had reason to reinstall the app yesterday due to Bluetooth syncing failure so I had to log back in then. But I've logged out and in just now but I'm not convinced it'll make a difference but trying it anyway.
