Cardio load not registering after exercise

Cardio load is not registering after some workouts, not all, seems random. I have got the latest version of the app. Very disappointed as only just been gifted a Charge 6

Did a 20 minute session on my exercise bike. Started a "workout" session on my Charge 6 juicy should have generated some cardio load but nothing. I've attached a couple of screenshots in case they are of use.

Conducted a test. On recumbent bike using "workout" exercise type didn't register any cardio load. Repeated but this time moved my arms so that the Charge 6 is moving. This registered cardio load. So, with respect to the "workout" exercise type, movement of the Charge seems to be key. I've noticed the following behaviour at other times: vigorous movement of the Charge seems to confuse the pulse measurement and causes it to go unnaturally high. I certainly wasn't putting in any more effort via my legs so the 143bpm was rubbish. I also noticed it on an elliptical machine in a gym. It makes the readings quite unrepresentative of the exercise which makes me think  "why bother with the Fitbit?".

@DavidFitbit I tagged you on this thread because another thread suggested it. I appreciate you probably have enough taggings to do you a lifetime but this "Charge 6 does not register some exercise for cardio load " issue seems to be plaguing many people so if you're able to get it noticed, I'm sure we'd all be very appreciative. My posts have tried to record my investigation of the issue and what factors seem to be key. Strangely, for an attribute which should be "cardio load", movement of the Charge 6 itself seems to be an all-important factor which really doesn't make much  sense but helps explain why "spinning" isn't being  recorded. The strange thing is is that it was working fine for me a few weeks ago. Thanks.

20 min "spinning" on recumbent bike with arms moving/punching constantly registered a cardio load of 13 which I'm not surprised with. Fitbit app version 4.62.1 with it being updated today. Next test will be save exercise minus the arms.

Repeated same spinning exercise without moving arm/Fitbit and no cardio load registered. Exercise was recorded but zero cardio load. "cardio load" should be renamed "Fitbit moving". Absolutely useless.

A Fitbit support person helped me to get it working via a chat session. Ended up resetting the Fitbit using the cable and "cable button press x 3" method and re-adding the Fitbit. It seemed to work because one of the zero cardio load exercises was changed to have a non-zero cardio load figure HOWEVER subsequent exercises have shown is still  not working  as expected.

I've experimented with 2 back to back "spinning" sessions and the only one that worked (registered a non-zero cardio load) was the one where I moved my arms. The obvious conclusion is that you now need to move your arms even if that's not how it used to be. Not very useful.

I am having the same issue. It just started about 2 days ago. I shutdown my sense and turned it back on, did the same with my iPhone but that did nothing. I am still looking into the issue.

This issue started as well on my app two days ago, no cardioload for weight lifting or treadmill run. Nothing that has been suggested has worked to fix this issue.

My issue is back as well, yesterday.  Cardio load, even from past exercises, now zero or not even a stat in the workout.

However, only 2 recently logged activity has cardio load.

didn’t register a 1 hour swim (which I started the session on my watch)  but registered the bike ride there (which it auto detected)

Almost all my passed data came back. Present data and graphing is working. Side note … not looking forward to this upcoming update.

My cardio loads were returned as well.  There likely was a glitch as they're preparing to update.  It's a big move.
