I’ve had this Fitbit since Feb 2025 and while the watch and my phone show the correct time/date, this is consistently mistaken when it syncs with the app. My sleep times are off, the dates are wrong, the exercise times are wrong etc. It’s frustrating and I have turned off and on the automatic time zone several times. I tried logging out, uninstalling the app, turning my phone off, reinstalling the app and still the same issues persists. I’ve tried resetting the watch using the button when it’s charging and that hasn’t helped either. I’ve had a Fitbit off and on for the last several years and it seems that once I moved my account to a google sign-in, the app hasn’t worked properly.

This photo is from today, Aug 18th at 8:59pm and it recorded my walk for 10pm, Tuesday, Aug 19th. I have tried resetting the time zone and manually edited the time and it just keeps going back to the incorrect time/date.

Hello @CathyStu1
Your Charge 6 should get the time from your phone that has the Fitbit app.
Were you able to solve your issue or do you still need help?

I’ve tried everything I know and have read online with no avail. When the app syncs with my Fitbit it is at least three hours off. Both my watch and phone show the correct time, but all the recorded data is off.

Hello @CathyStu1
Have you check the Fitbit app settings to confirm that it's set to the correct timezone & location?
By any chance, did you recently travel or use a VPN? I've read user posts reporting that they have issues with incorrect time tracking because of using a VPN.
