Charge 6 Notifications not received

Any update on the Charge 6 not receiving What’s App messages ( or other Apps)?  I used to get all (text, phone calls, Messenger and What’s App) on my Charge 4 so hugely disappointed that I can’t get them again.  Pls can Google advise urgently.  Thank you.

Hi @Sue314 ! Welcome to our community forums!

I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 6 is not receiving notifications. Thank you for sharing the details.

Please confirm that all the requirements below are met on both your mobile device and the app:

  1. Are notifications enabled on your Charge 6? Swipe down on the watch face and make sure Do Not Disturb and Sleep modes are turned off.
  2. Does your phone have Do Not Disturb disabled?
  3. Is your phone up to date? What is the Android/iOS version?
  4. Do you have your app allowed to run in the background?
  5. Please confirm that Power Saver is not enabled on your phone as this feature disables Bluetooth. Phone Settings / Battery / Power Saving Mode
  6. Make sure your phone receives notifications when it's locked. On your phone, tap Settings / Apps & Notifications / Notifications / Notifications on Lock Screen.
  7. To receive app notifications, make sure they're delivered to your phone. On your phone, tap Settings / Apps & Notifications / Notifications and look for Recently Sent.

Once you've verified the requirements, please take a look at the following article and try the troubleshooting steps. If you have an iPhone, you will find a section with tips to receive the notifications: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device

Sorry- exhausted all those options several times and still no joy.  When I swapped to a Charge 4 none of these issues occurred and have read some posts that others seem to have same issue.  Any further advice as a little frustrated.  Thank you very much.

Thanks for this info --- I've been going nuts for over 2 weeks and have tried all the troubleshooting steps.  All of a sudden I stopped getting notifications on my watch.  Will they let us know when the issue is resolved?

Hello @CBMiller

Usually, the Moderator who posted acknowledgement of the issue will post when the issue has been fixed or when the fix is rolling out. You may want to keep track on the thread that I linked for updates.

Sue - If you haven't been able to solve the issue, I actually called and talked to a Fitbit tech last week.  I am not up and running!  Getting alerts on my watch.  She waked me though some steps that were listed anywhere.  I was going to put the number here but am not allowed - had to take it out before sending.  I found the number on the website some place.  Took me awhile to find.   Good luck!
