I got my Charge 6 today, charged it, and upgraded the Fitbit app, the device shows in the app but cannot pair. Turned off/on the Bluetooth and retried no difference. On Charge 6 nothing changes and displays download the Fitbit app. I reconnected my Charge 4 and it is working fine. Any pointers on what else I can try?

Identical issue. Iphone sync'd fine with Charge 6; Ipad was another story! After trying everything imaginable for more than an hour among the devices, I shut off Iphone's BlueTooth and the Charge 6 miraculously uploaded to my Ipad. Nice if the instructions indicated that BlueTooth on other devices had to be off in order to get a pairing code for an additional device!

I am on android 10 and have been having intermittent sync issues with my Charge 6.... I disconnected the Charge 6 from my tablet, and deleted the tablet app version and the phone sync issues disappeared. Maybe the Charge 6 gets confused if more than one device is paired.....very strange.

I have a Fitbit charge6. It was paired yesterday with my phone, Samsung S21 FE5G running Android 14 and tablet, Galaxy tab A7lite also running Android 14. Today I am unable to pair it. Perhaps I am not recognizing how it appears in the scan list. I'm trying to connect a device called PR BT 0889. When I try pairing it I get a number I am supposed to confirm on my Fitbit but It doesn't appear on my Fitbit.
I have read, tried, reread tried reread.... every one of these entries. I can't find the devices option in the app. I apparently don't know how to find any other items in Bluetooth to "forget." The app says it's version 4.30.fitbit-mobile-1101469 and I'm told by Google that that it doesn't need to be updated.
I'm at a complete loss. I only have until December 16th to return the Fitbit.
I need help!

Hello @Catches72
Sorry to see you're having issues with your Charge 6 & pairing it to your phone & tablet.
Out of curiosity, what happened that your Fitbit was no longer paired with your phone & tablet? It should have still been paired if you had them connected yesterday.
To access the device option in the Fitbit app, tap on the device icon in the upper right of the Today page. That will open a different page where you should see the connected devices. Do you see the Charge 6 listed as a connected device?
What problem are you having with your Bluetooth settings that you can't find the connected devices?
The details you provide will help us guide you so that you can connect your Charge 6 to your phone & tablet.

Can’t get it to reliably pair and only a limited amount of time to get it to work.
Sounds like you have already answered the question as to what you need to do.
If you really want to stay with Fitbit / Google / meta, return it and then go get another one and start your return clock over again.
Maybe you just have a defective one.

Hello @Catches72
There should be an icon to the left of the battery level percentage in the upper left at the top of Today page in the Fitbit app,. That's what you can tap on to open the Connected devices page.
Thank you for letting us know that it seems that your Charge 6 is back to tracking. Have you tried doing a manual sync from the Fitbit app? Put your finger on the Today page, pull down, and let go. This will trigger a manual sync. Let us know if the manual sync worked.
You might find this page helpful: How to get started with the Charge 6 (<-- click link). There's also a link to the Charge 6 User manual which has a lot of helpful information.

So agree! I too have tried everything that I possibly can, but my iPhone doesn’t pick up my charge 6 through a Bluetooth search, and the Fitbit (fully charged and connected to charging device) keeps showing the same message: “download Fitbit app “.
I feel really frustrated and sad about it all! Also, my fitbit account isn’t a Google account, and it’s force g me to log in with my Google account, but when I try to do that, it tells be my account isn’t already being used! Already being used by who?!

I finally gave up on the Fitbit Charge 6 and went to a competitive device that seems to be better Forerunner.
This decision was based on not being able to link the Fitbit Charge 6 to the Fitbit app, being locked out of my Google account, and all the problems with the Fitbit app.
