Charge 6 cannot pair with phone

I got my Charge 6 today, charged it, and upgraded the Fitbit app, the device shows in the app but cannot pair. Turned off/on the Bluetooth and retried no difference. On Charge 6 nothing changes and displays download the Fitbit app. I reconnected my Charge 4 and it is working fine. Any pointers on what else I can try?

I found it was related to the watch not charging right. Got a new charge cord and it fixed the problem.

I noticed that my Fitbit charge six was not syncing with my phone. It’s been over a month and I’ve just not paid attention to it. So far I’ve been working on this for about 30 minutes. The app is updated. the phone is updated. I unpaired the charge six from my Bluetooth as part of troubleshooting. Now my phone Bluetooth will not find the charge six. 

i’ve now uninstalled the app, and it’s taking an extremely long time reinstalling"…..

I have the same issue since the last app update in my iphone 13pro. Tryed everything, but the charge 6 can‘t found on bluetooth and adding the charge over the fitbit app results in an error. 
So now we have the typical google quality nonsense on fitbit too. 😕 No accurate support and untested updates that leads to damaged devices. 😞

I’m sorry you’re continuing to have this problem. I did a chat with technical support and it was fixed in about five minutes. I can’t remember the exact steps, I’m sorry, but it didn’t involve quick hold of the USB portion of the charger. Where that little button is… But please give the chat another shot. I was frustrated because the instructions that everyone was giving must’ve been for iPhones. I have an android, so I wasn’t seeing what they were saying to do.

Hi, We received a new charge 6. I could not see it in the Bluetooth stack on iphone15.

I tried all the recommendations (install updated Fitbit app, reboot iPhone, shut Bluetooth on and off etc)  

It does not show up in the Bluetooth stack until you go through the steps to add it to you account in the app.

The current email I had for Gmail said another device was using it. I could not find that or any device to delete it so I created a new Gmail for just the charge6.

After doing that, I was able to continue the install and the device paired up and now shows in the bluetooth.

I’ve had my Charge 6 less than 1 year and have had more trouble than all other products combined. Cannot get text notifications to come through and yes, have done all the reset steps numerous times. Today it won’t even charge or update ANYTHING since 10:40 previous night. This has been the most frustrating product

Believe me I understand that frustration. Had it with the charge 5 but the
warranty had run out shortly before the problem. I was going to go to
another tracking watch but they had to be charged almost every day or two!
Fitbit does not need to be charged often as that. The company worked with
me and they offered me a discount and I took it to get the charge fixed.
But they did work with me but you have to go through the process with them.

I woke this morning and checked my phone to see that nothing had been recorded for the past two days.  I restarted my phone.  Closed and opened my Bluetooth. Disconnected my Charge 6. Made sure my Fitbit is fully charged and on the charger.  Now it will not reconnect to my phone.  It says "searching for your Charge 6," then a window pops up with an error message saying it won't connect.  I tried holding the button on the Fitbit for noted amount of seconds, but it didn't work.

What eventually worked for me is this. There is a little button on the USB end of your charger. They had me hit that several times like a one second hold each time but honestly, it would be best to reach out to the customer support. I did it by chat. I did not have to wait long Though that will depend on day and time of day, but they were very helpful and in less than five minutes, I was up and running. People had mentioned something like I was telling you, but they assume, that you know about this little button on that USB plug…
