As the title says: My new Charge 6 keeps turning itself off since late last week.
Bought it on release, didn't have any problems so far. Battery is holding good.
Now, last week my Charge 6 was dead all of a sudden the day after I charged it (still hat at least 60% battery). Had to use the power cable, connect it and tap the button on the cable 3x. Then it came back.
A day or two later the same happend. Was charged to over 90%, had to revive with the power cable button trick.
And that happend 2 or 3 more times.
Does anyone else have that problem? Am I just stupid and turn it off accidentally without knowing?
Will contact support later today and ask them too, just curious if the hive mind had some issues with that.

So my replacement is now being returned for a refund. No questions asked by Fitbit. No arguing. Must be a huge problem for them. Back to my reliable Inspire.

Same thing is happening to me. Charge 6 has randomly shutoff 3 times in 1 month since purchase. Battery was full or almost full every time. Fitbit customer service made me feel crazy for reporting it and they requested I keep a log of the device's battery levels obtained from periodically refreshing the app through out the day. And then report the battery details if the shut off occured again. Ha! Like anyone has time to keep a battery log.
Well it just happened again and I'm not looking forward to talking to customer service about the battery log I didn't keep.
Pretty terrible experience so far.
No issues with any other device. Fitbit wearer since 2015.

This is my first Fitbit and am having the same issue. But am concerned at it 'not being waterproof' since the Fitbit selector in the store recommended it for swimming! Why otherwise would it have a 'swim' setting? The other issue is the water lock is almost impossible to set and disarm. Can product support please give some definitive answers on this as having to reset it at least every day will cause me to return it soon. Why does it switch off? Is it necessary to log in to the app every day or keep the device near the phone? It is NOT a battery issue and if it is a water problem then it is being mis-sold.
Can we please also have some better clock faces, something simple and legible!

Yes, I have been having the same problem for a while now. Whenever I open the app on my phone the Fitbit turns off. This is very frustrating and I’m considering switching to an Apple Watch instead. I’ve been a long time user of Fitbit, but it’s just not worth persisting with this issue.

This issue continued for a while for me. Then, an update finally got distributed that fixed the problem. Haven't had the problem in a while.
