Charge 6 not mapping walls/runs correctly

Can anyone tell me why my fitbit has stopped mapping my walks/runs correctly. See pic attached. This has only started recently

@Weewhiskey where you see GPS jump around like that usually means the signal was lost and then picked up later at a different location.  So you see those weird straight lines.  Wearing it too tightly or a super cloudy day will impact the GPS signal strength.

Thanks very much. I usually run the same route so strange it only just
started happening. Can you recommend what gps to have the fitbit set at?

@Weewhiskey I don't jog with my phone so on the Charge 6 I use the built in GPS.  When you use this setting it means charging the device more often as I find for about an hour long jog, it will use up between 20 to 25% battery each time.  So it means charging every 3 days.

I've got a similar issue.
The crazy tracking looks like the GPS signal is dropping out, so it's joining known points with straight lines. If it was a very cloudy day, then the cloud might have affected the strength of the GPS signal.
Having said that, it seems like a common issue so I suspect there's a bug in the firmware. Maybe try restarting the device and see if that does anything?
