Charge 6 sync failed half way through

My Charge 6 failed multiple times to sync to my iPhone.  each time it stalled half through its sync.  

I tried multiple things. turning the bluetooth on and off.  restarting my phone and restarting the watch multiple times.

and lastly I tried removing the charge 6 from the Fitbit app and reconnecting. however after multiple failed attempts the charge 6 will no longer connect to my iPhone app.

is my watch broken?

Thanks for sharing the situation you are having with your Charge 6 and for the efforts you already tried.

Have you already downloaded the newest version of the Fitbit app? Please make sure your phone is also updated to the newest operating system.

I suggest you to try this steps:

  • Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Restart your device again.
  • Turn your phone off and back on.
  • Remove all other Fitbit devices from your Fitbit account. 
  • Remove your Fitbit device from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet:
    • On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth.
    • Tap the information icon or gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
    • Find the option to forget the device.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. For OS requirements, see Fitbit-compatible devices.
