Hello,
I recently got a new Charge 6 and have been facing this weird issue from day one. If i go into the customize Clock Face menu, everything is in Hindi. I checked all the language options in the app and phone, I'm not using Hindi anywhere, never have. Any thoughts on how to resolve this?
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and before anyone asks, everything's up to date.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Hottracks!
Sad to hear you're Charge 6 is behaving like this..
As a first approach to hopefully get things fixed, I'd suggest restarting it. Before doing so you should make sure you've synced your device to not lose any data tracked so far. Also you should verify that the charging contacts on your device are clean and the charging pins on it's charging adapter are clean as well and can move flawlessly. In doubt please have a look here:
How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Next please closely follow these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:
1.) Connect your Charge 6 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.
I'd like to point out that it sometimes requires more than one attempt to restart Charge 6. So, before throwing the towel, please give it another try.
If that really won't work for you, please try if changing your device's clock face will get it back to working order. Here's how to do that:

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hi there,
Appreciate the coverage of the basic bases but I should've mentioned that I already did all that before I even put up the OP. I even reset the watch. I even switched faces but the 2 customisable faces (Fast Lane & Sans) still open in Hindi. I'm pretty tech savvy (have done my fare share of rooting, development and support) and have done quite a few more steps beyond what you've mentioned. I'm writing here because I'm out of ideas and require professional help. If someone has a direct solution, would appreciate that very much.

And now, what i thought was a one off case, the Charge 6 continues to lose connectivity every day. I have to restart my phone to get it to reconnect again. That's what led to the reset the 1st time. Kinda regretting buying a Fitbit now, doesn't seem like there's any proper support either from what I can see in the rest of the forum. It can't even get the basics right, though everything else works great. It's like Sophie's Choice. Not sure what to make of it. A resolution in any form would be highly appreciated.

Try going to the Fitbit app settings and changing the location to USA, there's an option called 'Set location automatically', once you turn it on it changes the location to USA. Once done, just restart the app, you should be able to see the content in English, atleast it worked for me.

You could also go into the phone settings - apps - Fitbit - clear data. This will also log you out of the fitbit app. The app will have a clean start.
Is the wrong language on the Charge 6 or the Fitbit App? My Charge 6 has borked.
