I would like to bring to everyone's attention the disappointing battery life of the Fitbit 6 tracker. As a user, I feel compelled to share my negative experience and warn others about this issue. Despite the manufacturer's claims, the battery life falls significantly short of expectations.
Within just a couple of days, even with minimal usage of features like GPS, I consistently receive low battery notifications. This short battery life greatly diminishes the overall experience and leaves me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.
I believe it is important for potential users to be aware of this drawback before investing in the Fitbit 6. It is disheartening to encounter such a significant flaw in a product that promises so much.

I bought mine on the 12 of may. With screen on for 12 hours a day 8 till 8 I get about 2 days with GPS switched off. With GPS on dynamic and screen off I get may be 4. I do use it for sleep tracking and have the sensitivity turned up. I do cycle walk or run almost every day as live on farm so that may use more power. I realised mine said a week of power but to be fare never paid much attend to that as like with phones laptops and things they always say an time that is in the best temperature the least use like never get the claimed milage at least can do a couple of days could not cope with one of those claimed 24 hour ones like Apple or Pixel that probably get far less than that in real use.

If you're only getting 2 days under these conditions, your watch is certainly faulty. As I've noted, I'm charging every 7-8 days right now with everything being tracked. AOD display is set to off, screen to dim, GPS to dynamic.
Both charge 6 watches in this house have the same profile and safely last one well, going on the charger at a little over or under 20%.

I used to get a full week out of my charge, now this week suddenly it’s dying overnight! I am unsure of how to contact customer support or what to do as it was given to me as a Christmas gift. I’ve owned several versions of the Fitbit over the years and this is the first time I’ve had the device crap out on me so early.

I understand your feelings and disappointment. Unfortunately, over the years, Fitbit seems to be getting worse...
I have contacted customer support through their official website and Facebook. I can say that communication with them is better through Facebook.

I didn’t have much luck calling customer support but did have a very pleasant experience with their chat support option.
After troubleshooting did not work (and about 3 times contacting customer support) I was given the option to return my Fitbit under warranty and they sent me a new one. It arrived at my place literally the next day. They give you the return label etc. so shipping is of no charge. Pleasantly surprised with how seamless this transaction occurred.
fingers crossed the replacement is not a lemon. I really enjoy using my Fitbit daily.

I had this exact issue with the Charge 5. I was told that it was a firmware issue and would be resolved. It never did resolve itself and they refused a refund or replacement. I basically threw $180 outc the window.
When I read the reviews and comparisons by all the reputable tech review companies, I was actually on board to give the Charge 6 a try. Then I went to Amazon and read the customer reviews and discovered that this is plagued with the same issue as the Charge 5.
I'm sorry to say, but it seems Fitbit/Google is not taking this issue seriously and it is unfortunately, going to be the downfall of this product and possibly Fitbit itself.
I just hate that Fitbit is the only tracker/smart watch that is the perfect size with all of the right things, for very small wrists. I LOVE Fitbit and wanted this one to work so bad! 😞

Sucks! I'm having the same issue; please share the outcome.
I'm looking for an alterative.

Sheesh after reading all of these now I’m torn . I’ve had many issues with my charge 5. I’m about to purchase 6. I have to have a device for health reasons.
now I’m lost.
my first Fitbit was an hr , it lasted more than 4 years . It was not as fancy as these but would go 10 days of charge and never had issues until the end . Granted I’m glad to have the added extras in the new models but , do I keep putting money down? I hate the thought of an Apple Watch becuase it’s so big.

I had to switch sides and try the Garmin Instinct 2s (for the smaller screen). Still bummed that I can't be in team Fitbit anymore.
