Disappointed with Fitbit Charge 6 Battery Life

ANSWERED

I would like to bring to everyone's attention the disappointing battery life of the Fitbit 6 tracker. As a user, I feel compelled to share my negative experience and warn others about this issue. Despite the manufacturer's claims, the battery life falls significantly short of expectations.

Within just a couple of days, even with minimal usage of features like GPS, I consistently receive low battery notifications. This short battery life greatly diminishes the overall experience and leaves me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.

I believe it is important for potential users to be aware of this drawback before investing in the Fitbit 6. It is disheartening to encounter such a significant flaw in a product that promises so much.

I'm satisfied with it. It's a good replacement for me. Still getting used
to all of It's abilities and format. Sorry if like switching from an
iPhone to an Android....

It seems to be working out well.  It's a little like switching from an iPhone to Android as far as the learning curve goes. I'm still trying to figure out all it's powers.

I'm having the same issue, battery wise, since the most recent software update. I used to get 6-7 days battery life, now I get 3 days....Absolutely nothing else has changed besides software update....the cynic in me say there's mush be a charge 7 release date announcement due 🙈

Same problem.  Customer service told me to remove some feature, which I did.  It made no difference. The battery barely lasts 24 hours, making the thing effectively useless for actually tracking anything.

How long have you been using your Charge 6? Mine was getting 6 or 7 days of use without battery life being drained for a year. In the last month, it’s draining so fast that I have to charge it almost daily. I don’t use GPS, or always on display, etc, features that take a lot of battery. This is so disappointing!

Hello @DebPTx

When my Charge 5 started having rapid battery loss, I restarted and recharged my device multiple times over several days. As soon as I saw a rapid drop in battery, I restarted my Charge 5 and put it on the charger until it was back to 100%, often doing this multiple times in a day. Eventually, this process got my device "unstuck" and the battery went back to lasting 6-7 days. Although there's no guarantee that this will work for your Charge 6, it might be worth a try.

I've decided that the battery has a long life if you're not active. I
workout 5 days a week for 2 hours each time and it lasts about a day. I
went on a two week vacation and wasn't very active and it lasted 7 days.
I will never buy another one.

Very very disappointed too about my Fitbit sense and sense 2 battery life after a couple years use, I might be thinking of switching to performance rather than battery life as they claimed. Wished I kept my ionic models than this short life called sense.

I wished I had read this message before I purchased this item. I purchased my charger 6 a month ago, and the battery died on me several times when in my phone shows at 75% charged on my phone. I followed all the steps and troubleshooting to get my charger back, and it keeps dying every other day. So frustrating.

Reach out to Fitbit - they helped me troubleshoot and then sent a new device. I’ve had no problems since then - that was almost a year ago

Hello @BiancaMar

That doesn't sound like normal battery life for a Charge 6.

Since you got your Charge 6 a month ago, you should contact Support (<-- click link) about your warranty options. Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.

I too have battery issues.  Two days for use time even while not wearing the watch.  Has anyone received information from FitBit Charge 6?
