Fitbit won't track sleep and won't sync

ANSWERED

My Charge 6 stopped tracking sleep 4 days ago.  When I checked the app, it also hadn't synced for 1 day.  I tried multiple ways to sync and no luck.  Now, my Charge 6 isn't discoverable - and it's still not tracking sleep.  Any ideas?

I had the same issue today.  After spending hours trying to figure it out I found that from the clock face I swiped down until I got to Settings.  Once there scroll up until you get to Restart. Follow the short instructions.  This was short and simple but I had no idea there was a Restart feature.  I hope this works for you.

Hello @TnT25

Do you see a green light on the back of your Charge 6? That light is the optical heart rate sensor and is used for sleep tracking.

If you don't see the green light, confirm that Heart rate is enabled in your Charge 6 settings:

  • Swipe down from the clock face until you get to the Settings tile, the last one, and tap on it
  • Swipe up to get to Heart rate and confirm it's turned on. If not, then tap on it to enable

By any chance, did you turn off both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, then back on, when you were troubleshooting your sync issue? This has worked for me and other users when they are having problems syncing their device with the Fitbit app.

Thank you, RiekoC.  I've been able to sync and the green light is on.  I'll see if it tracks sleep tonight.  Thanks for the quick reply!

I found that reset feature when RiekoC suggested that's where settings was located (swipe down from the clock face).  Thanks for the response and helpful tip!
