My charge 6 has suddenly stopped displaying weekly, monthly and yearly step data. It is still recording steps each day, but I am no longer able to see information in the past. I have updated the tracker and all other metrics are displaying as I’d expect, other than steps. How do I fix?

Hi everyone! Thank you for your responses.
As i mentioned before, this issue has been escalated as this is not the way the app is expected to work.
In addition, due to the way the data is stored in the fitbit app, there's no way to loose data by uninstalling/reinstalling the Ftbit app. Keep in mind you need to log out first so the latest data will be save as well.
Finally, at the moment we don't have any updates about the evolution of this situation but rest assured a resolution will be provided as soon as it's available.

Hi @MikeR1970, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
I'm glad to help you with the data that is not properly displaying on your Fitbit app. Thank for the details provided and for the steps you have already done.
We have received some reports about data missing, incomplete or unable to load in the Fitbit app. Some users have reported that they were able to resolve the issue by uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit app on their mobiles. It is worth a try if you haven't done so. I appreciate your time in this process.
In addition, i must tell you that this issue has already been escalated and it's currently being investigated. They will be informing about a resolution as soon as ot's released. This being said, i recommend that your keep the Fitbit app up to date. See How do I use the Fitbit app? > How do I update the Fitbit app? for instructions on how to update your Fitbit app. I appreciate your patience and understanding.
I too have been encountering problems obtaining historical data and access/setting goals for the last week. Tried repairing device multiple times to no avail, so what gives? How and when can this be fixed? Are you waiting to hear from more people affected by it?
I have had same problem as others in this chat stream-historical aggregated data for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly steps, miles, and calories not showing for past week. Is this permanent? Is this part of Google’s plan to terminate Fitbit app? Will our Fitbit trackers become useless?

Had a moment to delete and reinstall the app. It worked for me, also. My historic data sets (steps, miles, calories) are back! Thank you!
I have done the same and it’s also worked for me, so that looks like a fix users can complete. Hopefully Fitbit will sort the problem so that isn’t necessary going forward
I am having this issue as well. So do you delete the app and reinstall it? When I try to delete i, it states all my data will be lost 😞 not willing to lose my data . Really miss seeing my historical data.
I don’t believe there is an app update that fixes the problem yet, at least not for iPhone. When I noticed the issue 2 days ago my Fitbit app was the latest version. For me, deleting the app and reinstalling restored the historical data. Also I had previously migrated from my Fitbit account to my Google account. So I can’t speak about what happens for users with legacy Fitbit accounts.
The last update (4.42) didn't remedy the situation. PLEASE do more testing or hire more people to do more testing. I'm already looking at other trackers, even though I'm very satisfied with the Charge 6 itself. This app is a disgrace, though.
