Hi,
I was wondering how to properly record a run so that it captures all the necessary data. When I initiate the run through the app, it fails to log the heart rate graph for the duration of the run. Conversely, starting the run via the band only logs the heart rate graph and the distance in kilometers, but omits the route/map.
Is it necessary to activate both the app and the band simultaneously to gather all the data? I previously used a Xiaomi band, where initiating a run in the app would automatically display comprehensive data on the watch, including speed, heart rate, heart rate zones, and time. Additionally, it provided auditory updates through headphones after each kilometer, informing me of my speed in km/h and my heart rate. This feature seems to be entirely absent now, as I only receive updates on the duration it took to complete the last kilometer.

@henryfos Make sure you have GPS enabled in the Run settings on the tracker. Make sure the GPS is connected before you start running. That's all you need to do. Now the ugly part is that Charge 6 GPS isn't well... the best in the market. I suggest switching GPS to the 'Phone' mode as I find it most reliable. That said, Charge 6 isn't really made for runners. It has only a very basic support offering even fewer features than Sense or Sense 2 (like no manual laps).

I set GPS to phone and started via the tracker, and now I get both the map and the hearthrate😁
But would be cool if fitbits app and tracker would be better connected so you could start it on either side and it would track everything.

If Charge 6 isn't made for runners, who is it made for?

@wrow I don't know for who it's made but as a runner I know I wouldn't pick this device. It's way to simple, too inaccurate and has too many problems that interfere with running. It's not suitable to track running (and all it does is only tracking as it lacks of any training supporting and analytic features for runners which you can find on other watches). There are better solutions for runners and some even priced similar to Charge 6.
