Same here. I have to look at the clock when I go to bed and when I wake up. Then I edit "my sleep" in the morning

Hello @MikeD1964

According to the help page, How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit

When your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device records that you’re asleep.

If your Fitbit tracked a sleep period for you, that indicates to me that you weren't moving for about an hour. This will also happen if you are laying down & resting, even though you aren't asleep.

You can easily delete the erroneous sleep logs in the Fitbit app so they aren't included in your weekly/monthly sleep analysis.

For the most accurate sleep tracking, you would need an EEG tracking device.

The only problem is that Fitbit tags the rest period along with the sleep period - making it look like you slept 6 hours when you slept 3 hours and were resting for 3 hours

Complete junk !
