I recently have been burned on my wrist after wearing my watch. A small one happened and at first I thought it was just a rash so I let it heal before wearing my watch again. Then I wore my watch for about four hours and now have a quarter size burn on my wrist. I would like a refund or replacement please. I have had various Fitbit watches over the years and have always liked them. I am disappointed this one is causing this problem.

My Versa 3 ran out of charge unexpectedly (after 1 day vs the usual 5 or so). When I recharged it, I noticed it got very hot (not usual) and then just died. I can't get it to start up, recharge, nothing. Is it dead? Anything I can do to fix it?

Thanks, Ed

@ejbSF   It sounds like a battery charging fault.  Please don't try charging it any more.  Your unit is dead.  Is it under warranty or did you buy an extended warranty?

Thanks for the reply. No, the warranty has run out, unfortunately. Nothing to be done with it then?

Dear Fitbit Customer Support,

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a severe skin reaction I have developed after wearing the Fitbit Versa 4. I have attached images showing the affected areas on my wrist, which became red, inflamed, and extremely irritated shortly after consistent use of the device.

What’s particularly troubling is that I have been a long-time user of Fitbit products, including the Charge 2 and Charge 4, both with original straps, and have never experienced any kind of skin reaction or discomfort until now. This suggests that the issue may be specific to the materials used in the Versa 4 or a possible design flaw in the strap or watch housing that needs investigation.

I have taken great care to wear the device properly, keep it clean, and follow all usage guidelines. Despite this, the reaction has been significant enough to cause pain and require me to stop wearing the device altogether.

I would appreciate it if you could get back to me a resolution on this. Thanks

Hi @HYil1991 .   This is a user to user help site, not Support  .  Please use the link for the help you need.  Based on user posts, there are some people who have similar sensitivity issues, but didn’t have any issues with older models.

  • I used  Fitbit Luxe a bit more than 2 years. However, I cannot anymore because the film covering the lights at the back of the watch melted by the rubbing alcohol I used to sanitize my hands. I do not know if it is something repairable. But I hope so as the watch was working more or less fine before that.

The back of my watch is causing a rash of small raised bumps. The rash is the same shape and size of the sensors.

Any others experience this?
