Why would you fix something that wasn’t broken? The new sleep data formatting is awful and impossible to read. Is this the way it’s going to be going forward? Because if so, I’ll be dumping my Fitbit and buying another company’s product. As it stands right now, it is useless to me. Thank you.

I agree. It's awful. I don't get the "typical sleep for people like me" either. I have android phone (Google Pixel)

I could not agree more. A particular problem on the android app version is in the sleep benchmark panel: the typical range mark is completely invisible. How Fitbit could release such an "update" is beyond me.

This is so frustrating!! The primary reason I stayed with the Fitbit was the excellent sleep tracking in the app. This is my 3rd Fitbit, but if they’re going to keep these crappy graphs, I will change. They are hard to read, whereas the previous format was so easy to see everything at a glance. It makes no sense to change something that already worked well!

I absolutely agree the update is terrible and so confusing. I had to chat with customer service to see if my premium membership expired because I thought it did and I was seeing the non membership info. I was told to send an email which I did but then noticed they no longer offer support by email. So who do we contact about this? Any ideas? Then again will they actually care?

I completely agree! The new sleep tracking format is unreadable and unusable. This being such a huge formatting change, it would have been nice to give your users a heads-up. Very disappointing. Please change back to the previous format. If that’s not an option, thankfully, Fitbit is not the only smartwatch company around.

I agree with you. I have always bought Fitbit because I like the design and data graphs were easy to read.

Agreed, I have stuck with 3 versions of fitbit primarily for the sleep tracking app. The new format is less intuitive, less informative, harder to use, harder to read, and will drive me to find a replacement that isn't owned by Google.

Every morning i wake up and look at my sleep results, I get upset all over again as I try to decipher the graphic mess they made!!! No renewal for me!

Hopefully they'll listen to us if enough people complain, the graph looks like a child created it 😯 when they took away the battery % number they reinstated it after enough of us complained, so we need to bring this latest 'downgrade' update to their attention!! Keep complaining everyone!!

I can’t stand it. It’s just awful and you can’t read it with the silly white background too. Wishing they would change it back

I agree. I won't be sticking with Fitbit if they don't pull their socks up and listen to the users. 😞😤

My steps count was grey-out today on app. I Uninstalled and install the latest 4.15 version. Guess what? The previous sleep chart is back. I was adjusting to the new look of sleep page since last update in 12th April which many users complained about. Google heard our requests and revert to the old sleep data layout. Yay!

that's great news if it works for everyone. I tried deleting the app on the phone and reinstalling, but still the same graphs.
Did I miss something?

This is the version (Android) I installed since yesterday via Google Play store: 4.15.fitbit-mobile
I went in and check on the version no. again just now and confirm that it's 4.15. There is no option to update to 4.16 as of today. I'm okay with the old or new sleep format (which I'm getting used to after a few weeks of fiddling the little details). However, old sleep chart is more intuitive and simple to understand. Both new and old versions work fine for me.

BTW, the latest Firmware Version is 66.20001.202.94 -- which displays the old version sleep format.

Ahh ok, it’s an android. I have an iPhone and perhaps that’s the reason for the difference. Maybe they started with Android and will do the iPhone platform next?

Updating to 4.16 did not work for me. I have an iPhone 2020 SE. Can you provide further instructions? Thank you.

as I said above, it seems to have worked only for Android phones so far.
