Today suddenly my fitbit start to show the wrong time.
My time zone is Bangkok GMT+7:00 but the watch show the UTC time.(7 hours slower from my time zone)
I've try change to other location with GMT+7:00 in the setting but it still show the UTC time.
Meanwhile, I've tried Tokyo GMT+9:00 the time is shown correctly. (2 hours faster than my time zone)
Is there any way to fix this or is this somekind of bug?

Hello! I JUST changed my location to China and Time Zone to Shanghai AGAIN cos Shanghai is in the same timezone as SG, synced and restarted Charge 6, and this time, it WORKED! My sleep score and hours were updated as well! Only issue is it is asking me to update my language to Chinese (which I cancelled). May wish to give this a try if anyone of you are in a similar time zone.

I tried this and it worked! I guess there is some issue with SG timezone. Thanks!

I changed fitbit to shanghai time zone but location remained at SG. It worked.

Thanks! It did work after changing my location to 中国 and my timezone to shanghai. Converted back to the normal location and time and it works perfectly now.

I changed it back to SG all OK, thank you! Did you get the alert asking you to update tracker language (and when u clicked on it the "terms and conditions" are all in Chinese)?

Location can remain as SG, no issues. All the best!

Thanks Angela. Changed my zone to Shanghai, and set my location to Singapore (which is closer to Bangkok where I am). So now my time is Shanghai Singapore. Not fixed but at least it's more accurate than being 7 hours off lol 😂

Ok my alert disappeared after I changed the location back to Singapore (timezone still Shanghai). I will stick to this setting for now. Let's keep everyone updated if and when Fitbit responds to this incident. 🙏

The TimeZone setting is having issues. It doesn't adjust to the settings in your configuration. But if you switch to manual, and search for any timezone setting value that matches your actual time, it will stay there.
For sure, this is an AWFUL workaround.
The only way I've found is to get the time back to a "working state".

I guess there's no reason why we couldn't stick with shanghai time zone so for now the solution would just be to change to shanghai until fitbit solves whatever created this error before changing to sg back again.

I think everyone has this problem. I live in South America and my time zone is GMT-05:00 but no matter what settings I make, it always shows the time as GMT-00:00.
I even tried changing the time zone to other countries and still nothing happens.
I'm starting to think it's a big bug with the 210.26 update.

Ive noticed that for some reason, the fitbit app on my phone seems to think its in the UK. Are you having the same issue? On the app check settings > date time & units > location. The auto location is saying UK even though Im in India. Even changing the setting manually isnt helping though

Been 4 days since I got my new charge 6, everything worked fine, but suddenly today when I woke up the time on it was changed, synced it with iPhone several times, did the soft and factory reset. But again the same issue is there.. the time doesn’t sync with the iPhone rest of the data syncs perfectly well.
