Today suddenly my fitbit start to show the wrong time.
My time zone is Bangkok GMT+7:00 but the watch show the UTC time.(7 hours slower from my time zone)
I've try change to other location with GMT+7:00 in the setting but it still show the UTC time.
Meanwhile, I've tried Tokyo GMT+9:00 the time is shown correctly. (2 hours faster than my time zone)
Is there any way to fix this or is this somekind of bug?

Hi,
My charge 6 is not displaying the correct time. Have tried the following solutions but none is working.
1) Restart charge 6 several time
2) Re-sync after log out and log in apps
3) Go to setting to turn off automatic time zone and verified that the time zone is correctly set to local time zone
4) Delete charge 6 and redo adding device
Any other suggestions to fix the problem is much appreciated. Thank you in advance for the help.
I tried to connect to my old fitbit (luxe) and it also showed wrong timezone (always shows GMT+0). It seems that the issue is not in the software installed in fitbit.
It was solved after I created new fitbit account and registered my fitbit. Timezone is back to normal again but all data is reset to 0

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to our new members.
Thanks for letting us know about the time on your Charge 6 and your efforts while working on this matter. I wanted to let you know that this has been escalated to our team, and it should be resolved.
I appreciate your patience and if you continue seeing the wrong time, I'd suggest opening the Fitbit app and pulling down on the Today screen to force a sync.
Hi Lizzy,
Thanks for your help. Can you also help me with another problem? My exercise data has not ben recorded in my fitbit app for the last week, and when I checked I saw that I am missing some of my exercise data for months. What is the problem?
Hi i had the same issue and tried everything but eventually i figured it out last night.
There is some kind of bug or error with the asian timezones. So what worked for me is i selected a gmt+3 time zone of a European country or state and that fixed it for me.
If that still doesn't work try changing the location to uk aswell.
I hope this helps let me know.
Good luck!
This did not work by itself, at least for me.
What worked was to set both location and time zone to manual, and then change the time zone to another country with the same time zone. For my case, I changed from Singapore to Shangai, both GMT+8.
The last step is to do the resync by pulling down the today screen as mentioned by Lizzy.
Someone else also posted similar solution so I suppose this is indeed the workaround for now.
Do you know when this fix will be released?
For me, it looks like the issue depends on the condition, and if the current time zone is not from the allowed list, then using UTC is the default.
