Time show on my Charge 6 is wrong

Today suddenly my fitbit start to show the wrong time.

My time zone is Bangkok GMT+7:00 but the watch show the UTC time.(7 hours slower from my time zone)

I've try change to other location with GMT+7:00 in the setting but it still show the UTC time.

Meanwhile, I've tried Tokyo GMT+9:00 the time is shown correctly. (2 hours faster than my time zone)

Is there any way to fix this or is this somekind of bug?

Running into the same issue from India as well. Tried all possible "solutions" but the time won't change for timezones other that UTC, EST, PST and Australian Time. 😞

More or less the same happened to me today - without traveling, it moved 4 hours behind my TZ. I'm GMT+4 and it shows GMT. I can set GMT minus anything, but when I set TZ GMT plus something it doesn't show more than GMT.

I tried everything I found on the Internet - enable/disable automatic location/TZ, log out of the app, reinstall the app, restart, hard restart, reset Charge 6, pair/unpair, restart, hard restart iPhone - all these in different combinations. Nothing helps. I even changed my location in my Google account and payment method.

BTW, it logs the workout with the correct time into the Fitbit app while showing the wrong time on Charge 6.

I kept my country (Brazil) and tried Fortaleza, Recife, Sao Paulo, Belem, Araguaina, Bahia, Boa Vista.... Most cities the app un-selects immediately after I select. Sao Paulo works most of the time, as it remains selected, but it's still 3hrs ahead of what it should be. Same for Cayenne (french Guiana) and Suriname. I just can't win today.

I am having the same issue. Time being shown is UTC, while my time zone is UTC plus 5.30 hours. I have restarted the fitbit and synced it but nothing happens.

Can any body help.

Hi, at some point today my watch time has reverted to UK time.... I live in Turkey, and my clock was on the right time first thing this morning... while I was on my walk and checking my steps I noticed the time had gone back 3 hours, I checked my phone and my location services are switched on, I checked tue fitbit app, my time zone says istanbul, but my location says UK, I tried to set location to automatic and nothing changed, so I tried to set my location to ustanbul, but turkey isn't in the location list... thanks for any help anyone can offer

Both me and and my wife Mrs Pushpa Chandar have a Fitbit charge 6 which we have been using for the last 12 months or so. 

Today for a strange reason after the new update we are unable to sync to our local time.

We bought the fitbit through Amazon in the US and my fitbit was once replaced free by you in November 2023 due to product quality issues.

Both of us have fitbit premium subscription .

The issue is the Fitbit is showing time of a strange location ( Abidjan in cote d' Ivoire) which is 5.30 hours behind  India.

I have tried resetting the app on the watch, resetting using the charging cable, Deleting the app  and reinstalling the app on my phone, restarting my phone but nothing works. 

Other functions like steps etc.. seem to be working fine. 

Since the time is from an unknown place I am not sure if it is bug on the latest release of the update or my Fitbit is hacked,

I have removed the app and kept the fitbit offline.please let me know if there any solution for this

I also live in Brazil. Same issue. It started some hours after I woke up. Tried everything. Resetting, resynchronization, change time zones. Nothing works...I loved this watch until now. It seems Google is scrapping Fitbit brand in favor of their Pixel brand...

I’m also having the same problem here in Asia. I changed it to MT (America/Denver) and it worked to sync to that time but all Asian time zones don’t seem to work.

Hello @Daltug and welcome to the Community.  There are several posts from international users about a time problem and they are all off by three hours.  Somehow your post wound up in a forum for a device that is only available in the US.  What model Fitbit do you use and do you use an Android or iPhone?
