Unable to set up Cardio Load on Charge 6

ANSWERED

Cardio load is appearing on my charge 6, but I am unable to set it up. I get the first 2 screens in setup without difficulty but get an error on the third and have to exit. On the today screen of the App it shows cardio load but always says it’s calibrating. I do get a score most days,  just don’t get a target range. Any idea when this will be fixed?

I get the same. It does not work.  I can’t believe they haven’t acknowledged or fixed this issue

I have also not had success with the cardio load working. Blank tile, intermittent pop up message. Versa x iPhone, updated app, deleted and reinstalled app, running v4.35.

I’ve got exactly the same issue on the Sense, the setup freezes or reports an error on the third screen, all software and firmware up to date

I am able to see the Cardio Target Load card, but those cards could disappear.  What I don't see is the horizontal green Target range band on the Cardio load graph that would indicate today's (or the given day's) Target Load.  I had a few updates under 4.34 and now am under 4.35 and still don't see the band.  Clearing cache/data and reinstalling the app did not help.

Issue still present with 4.35 - incorrect Cardio load on Charge. See my other thread for screenshots here:

Yes, the cardio load setup remains a problem. Everything up to date, but not able to get past screen three in the setup. It makes the metric of little value.

Hello @dduk & @JPorty

Have you had a chance to uninstall, then re-install the Fitbit app? I've seen iOS users report that they needed to do this in order to finish the Cardio Load setup.

Cardio load for spinning not working - received cardio load of 6 for 50 minute spin with 49 minute in vigorous and peak zones. Fitbit app version is 4.35 Android 15 on Pixel 9, using Pixel Watch 3 for heart rate.

I am not sure how this got through product testing - spinning being one of the most popular cardio exercises! The issue has been raised since release of pixel watch 3 in 2024 and no fix yet?

Can you please dedicate some resources to fix this - it will make alot of your customers both present and future happy! Thanks

Still the same for me: cardio load without target, except on the message that might vanish any time. It is not shown on the icon or the daily graph and says "no target" instead.

  • App version 4.35

I cleared the cache and reinstalled the app multiple times now.

After finding this thread https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Target-Load-missing-from-tile-and-graph/td-p/5705475 on the ios part of the forum I realized that me having an original Fitbit account was indeed the source of the bug! I migrated my account and then the target cardio load appeared instantly.

I deliberately did not choose to do that before and I am super angry that this bug forced me to do it! Way to p*** off your customers, Google!

I downloaded the update and STILL not getting anything on cardio load after some hard indoor biking sessions.  However, I can go for a walk or do chores in the house and that registers.  It's very frustrating when I am working harder and the fitbit tells me that I must be recovering...  What else can I do?

Same for me.  It's very frustrating.😞

I have the same problem. I exercise every day on my indoor bike with plenty of zone minutes, but cardio load says '0' and fitbit keeps telling me to train harder. And indeed, it does register when I go walking or vacuum the house...  Very frustrating.

Hi everybody, i hope you are  doing well.

If some activities give you a cardio load data but some others that seem to be more strenuous don't, it may be possible that the issue dwells in the heart rate reading.

It may be possible that the movement of the activity causes the watch to loose heart rate signal. This being said i recommentd to follow the suggestions in our help article How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device? > How do I improve the accuracy of a heart rate reading?

Hello @SteefR

There's currently an issue on the Fitbit side that affects cardio load for spinning & biking activities. I believe the team is aware of the issue and has been working on fixing the problem.

At this point, there isn't any troubleshooting that we can recommend since the problem is on the Fitbit side.

What you can do is submit the issue using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app:

  • Tap on your picture in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Select Feedback in the menu that opens
  • Complete the prompts and submit

Although it's likely that you won't receive a response, the team receives & reviews the feedback reports.

Hi there - I can confirm it is not loss of heart rate signal. Continuous, uninterrupted and accurate heart rate is recorded for all spinning sessions, however cardio load is incorrectly calculated. If anything spinning is less movement than other activities given on a stationery bike - and I understand from other posts it is the lack of movement that is impacting the cardio load calculation.
