My wife and I recently bought Charge 6's as both our Charge 5's were showing their age with short battery life. We were hoping to use the Charge 5's as extra watch to use while the Charge 6 was either on the charger or if we might be doing yard work or similar where a new watch might get potentially get damaged. From another post here, it was stated a second watch could not use the same "Fitbit Gallery".
I am not clear if the "Fitbit Gallery" is the same as the "Fitbit App" as the "Fitbit Gallery" seems to be only 3rd party apps and clock faces.
I do see in different posts here that people list multiple trackers in their signatures. Are they somehow able to use these under one app, one account?
My primary goal is to use the old Charge 5 as a 'watch' for time keeping and not so much as a fitness tracker and to do so it needs sync time from somewhere which normally would be the app. How can I get time sync to the Charge 5?

@MarkF48 I hope I can clarify a few things for you. Older versions of the Fitbit app used 'Gallery' for the clock faces and apps. You can see an image here. Every Fitbit since the Charge 3 and the Ionic have had this Gallery. It was a major change in Fitbit programming. The term still gets tossed around and these newer models are called Gallery enabled devices.
Flashback to 2018 and you just bought a Charge 3 to replace your Charge 2. You can use both those devices at the same time. The Charge 3 has the Gallery while the Charge 2 doesn't. This 'Gallery' is confusing because the app doesn't use that terminology anymore.
I'm one of those people with two models in my signature. I can't use them at the same time. I must replace my Sense 2 with my Luxe when I want to wear that smaller tracker.
Your web link to the clock face an app gallery is only for smartwatches.
Every Fitbit needs to sync with a phone/tablet from time to time to keep the current time. Or the time will drift. If you want to use your Charge 5 for the dirty work, you must replace your Charge 6 with it.

You cannot have 2 devices linked to the Fitbit app if they use the Fitbit App Gallery.
To use the Charge 5, you would need to add it as a new device in the Fitbit app and choose to replace the Charge 6 when prompted.
People who have multiple devices will swap as needed, or they are listing the devices they have used over the years.
To sync the time the device must be added to the Fitbit app and would replace the Charge 6.
