walk tracking

Hi, new to the Fitbit Charge 6, I'm happy with it. Too bad you don't track height, but ok. One thing is strange though: It tracks my walks automatically, if I start walking it starts tracking. But when I stop it doesn't turn off the tracking! Does this happen to others??

@Franzfume  I looked at your public profile and see that you have experience with other models.  Your Charge 6 has SmartTrack, the auto recognition feature that will automatically start and stop certain activities.  The Charge 6 also has a Walk Detect feature.  This feature starts the Exercise app.  This is why you must end your walk on the device to make it stop.  You can turn this feature off in the settings for the Walk shortcut.  Charge 6 Exercise and Heart Health  This feature is also on the Run and Bike shortcuts.  You need to turn them off individually, if you don't want to use them.

Thanks, but if I turn that feature OFF, I also turn OFF the autostart, right?
