Does this kind of app exists for the Versa? Anyone aware of any?

It's nice to see you around here @Iliyana! Not that I'm aware of my friend.
I've checked if there's someone already on the move in creating 0 to 5k app for Versa as the one you want, but there's no one so far. So, the best place to make your voice heard is the Feature Suggestion board on our community, which our product development teams consult regularly to ensure we're delivering on what our customers need and want. Please take a moment to visit and give us your feedback.
Our product team, community members, and developers look forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.
I encourage you to take the challenge of creating this app. What do you think? I'll definitely use it! If you consider being the developer of this, check the article How do I develop new apps for the Fitbit App Gallery? for detailed information of the process.
Thank you so much for your feedback and for participating in our community!

Thanks for jumping in here @LeiChat! As far as I know, the most popular smartphone apps for runners are the Couch to 5K training programs. They are typically built around an 8- or 9-week program that eases you into running using the interval training method. You start out with an even mix of walking and jogging, with the program gradually increasing the running intervals as you progress through the program. The goal is by week eight you're able to complete a full 5K run with no walking breaks needed.
5K Runner was developed by Fitness22 and is all about inspiring you to keep running — there's daily inspirational quotes and badges to earn as you continue down your path from couch to 5K. It also looks downright pretty with your next run's intervals clearly visualized from the app's home screen.
There's a built-in music player for any MP3s on your phone, and you're able to temporarily lock the screen from within the app so you can easily see how much time you have left on each interval at a glance without touching your phone — perfect if you're running with your phone in an armband case. The app tracks your progress and run history so you can see how you've improved over the weeks.
I'll be around if you need further help!

Thanks for the info.
I'm not familiar enough with the App SDK yet to try and build something like that, sorry.
There is a new Fitbit Developers group inside the Fitbit app now, on the community tab. I'd suggest posting the idea there.

I believe there an app that will do the trick... Coss has the "Run/Walk" app that is listed on the FitBit app.... (and ot looks like it will run on the versa!) At its heart, this Run/Walk/Run type app is the basis of the 0-5k methodology. It allows you to gradually increase your workout to avoid injury and burnout. I am not certain however, how the software interacts with the device... Is the app able to sense if the user is 'overexerting' and slow them down... or is it simply a timer app? Going further, will the app gradually increase the workouts to meet a goal (i.e. 5k in 8 weeks?) or is it left to the end user to manually increase the intensity of the workouts?... The little I see of the app suggests that it is 'merely' a glorified timer. Strictly speaking, it fits the criteria for a 'bare-bones' 0-5k app... but as you have to pay for it (even if it is a nominal fee) it seems pretty thin. I think it would be great for FitBit to have some sort of facilitated, beginner 0-5k app... or approach Coss to enhance their app and the integration with the FitBit devices to get it at the level of other apps in the marketplace.
