Fitbit needs to work on rolling out an update that allows you to control/access other apps while tracking exercise. Its pointless that I have to stop my workout to control spotify or vice versa.

This requires the true ability to have the exercise recording moved to the background @crystal24 

We have a couple of suggestions that you may want to add your vote to. 

Allow complete music control while exercising.
