Hi @Tybeeisland. You should see the weather app when you open the Fitbit app ... tap the Ionic or Versa icon ... select apps ... then all apps.
Apple apps provides for your iphone but they will not transfer to your Fitbit.

You are not stupid, @Tybeeisland. You’re just new to all of this. That’s why we’re here.
Which phone do you have?
- If you have an iPhone, the Fitbit app can be found In the App Store.
- If you have a different phone, I’ll have to know which one. Then, I’ll be able to tell you where to find the Fitbit app.
Which Fitbit device do you have?
- Knowing this will help me answer your questions.

Hey Carol B!
I have an iPhone and I’ve downloaded the app but cannot find the weather on it. I have a charge 3.
Also, I have another question. Yesterday, my Fitbit displayed the clock, messages and appointments but not steps or stairs. I wasn’t sure if it needed to be charged but plugged it into my laptop. It has been charging all day and is only 60% charged. The three things are lined up, the laptop is plugged in. Between the two problems, I’m baffled. Any idea what’s going on?
Thank you!
Beverly
(The reason I’m tybeeisland is any combination of my name was taken)

I hate to do this to you, @Tybeeisland, but we are going to have to put this discussion on hold. I will not be receiving my Charge 3 until the week of 10/22 so cannot check things out first hand. Hopefully someone else can step in with the answers before that. Otherwise, I’ll get back to you as soon as the charge 3 is in my hands. Or, if you prefer, you can always contact Support. We will get this resolved one way or another!
Just to sum up the situation:
- You have the Fitbit app loaded on your iPhone.
- You have a Charge 3 set up within the app.
- You cannot find the weather app within the Fitbit app.
- You also cannot see steps or stairs on your Charge 3.
- You are having problems charging the Charge 3.
As far as the problem with charging, please make sure that when you set the Charge 3 in the charger, the battery icon appears. If it does not, the fitbit is probably not in place. The Fitbit Charge 3 Manual provides more info on this and much more.

When my Charge 3 was connected to my laptop, it indicated it was charging but didn’t. Yesterday, I plugged it into a wall outlet and it charged in less than an hour (it was already 56%).
I didn’t have my phone with me when I was climbing the stairs. Was that the problem?
This leaves only the issue of the weather.
I’ll wait until you have your Charge 3.
Thank you.

Welcome on board @Tybeeisland, it's nice to see you here! First of all, please make sure that your Charge 3 and the Fitbit app are up-to-date.
Once you've made sure about that, please try the following:
- Log out of from Fitbit app
- Force quit the app
- Restart your tracker
- Turn off the Bluetooth
- Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
- Turn on the Bluetooth
- Log back into your Fitbit app
To set up the Weather app:
- Open the Fitbit app and tap or click the Account icon > your device image.
- Tap or click Apps.
- Tap or click the gear icon next to Weather. You may need to scroll down to find the app.
- By default, the Weather app shows your current location, which cannot be deleted. Add up to 2 additional locations you want to see in the Weather app.
- Sync your watch with the Fitbit app. It can take a few minutes to see the updated list of locations on your watch.
If the weather for your current location doesn’t appear, check that you turned on location services for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I allow the Fitbit app to use my phone's GPS?
If you change locations, sync your watch to see your new location in the Weather app.
Also, in regards to the floors and steps you're not seeing on your tracker I was wondering if they do appear on your Fitbit app? I was wondering if maybe they are not displayed on your tracker due to the clock face you've set? Have you try switching it to another one?
For battery inconveniences, see: Why isn't my battery charging?
Thanks a lot for all your help my friend @SunsetRunner!
Hope this helps, keep us in the loop!
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...
