Does anyone know how to change the Destination in the Uber app? It only says "Work".

I am having the same problem. Has this been resolved?

No. But the app is stupid anyway. You cannot use it without your phone
nearby and on (eg cannot use if phone battery is dead). So what's the
point? Why not just use your phone?

I didn't think about the fact I wouldnt be able to use it without my phone (dead battery). Excellent point. I guess I wont worry about it. Thanks!!

Hey there @dsienicki and @Stacy101, thanks for jumping in here! I'm afraid to say this is the way Uber app will work with your device.

For anything else you would like to see implemented in the future, consider visiting our Feature Suggestions board. This is a space where Community users can post features, ideas, and suggestions that they'd like to see in future Fitbit products, accessories, and software and top-voted suggestions get relayed to our product team for review.

Our product team looks forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.

Because the Apple Watch has the Uber app so Fitbit should have one too. The Apple one also requires your phone nearby too (unless you have the LTE version of the watch).

@EmTe I hope you're doing well! Thanks for sharing your input and experience on this thread. Thanks for letting us know about the functionality of the Uber App in other devices.

As stated before, the Uber App for Fitbit watches requires your phone to be nearby. That is how it works.

Thanks again for your contribution and help on this thread.

Hello Marre —

Like the others my Fitbit will not show any of the preset locations I have saved in my Uber account. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have confirmed that all of the permissions are on. My Bluetooth has been enabled and my phone has always been nearby. Still it only shows Home and Work, none of my other saved preset locations. Please advise. Thank you!!

Yeah. The app is useless and just doesn’t work. Don’t count on fitbit to fix it anytime soon it’s been like this for months. I called customer service they said there wa nothing they can do on their end but put in a ticket because Uber app developers need to fix the app basically.

I mean who has time to set up all these apps let aline try to find out how to fix them all that are not working?

The usefulness of this app (if it worked) and why you would want to use it rather than your phone is if you were back from your exercise, you left your phone in the car, and you inadvertently locked your keys in the car.  This has happened to me.  If the Uber for Fitbit app worked, you could at least get an Uber from your location back to home to get your spare keys.  I would like to see this functionality fixed.

This problem seems to persist.  I have saved addresses in the Uber app on my phone other than Home and Work but those are the only ones that appear on the watch app.  I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and Bluetooth and Wifi are enabled on my phone and watch but no luck.

I am having the SAME problem months later - i.e., can't select ANY destination other than Home or Work.  Has anyone found a solution or is the app simply useless?  I tried contacting Fitbit support, but after numerous messages, the rep simply sent me back to this Community thread for help.  No help that I can see for anyone so far.  Thoughts????
