Fitbit Blood Glucose Level App Reporting Error

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I started by entering my first blood glucose reading in the app this morning - 7.5mmol/L.  However, on the dashboard, the app is saying my blood glucose level is 135mmol/L and therefore out of range.  I have checked and I have definitely set the unit of measurement to mmol/L and 7.5 should definitely fall within the target range of 4 to 10mmol/L. I went back a few days and entered other levels from my meter, and I still have the same issue.

What's going on?

Same issue here, it seems to be more of an issue when you click the + on the Home Screen to add the result than going into the Blood Glucose section and then clicking the + to add the result.

Just doing the maths, it seems that it’s calculating the mmol/L value to mg/dL value but not changing the unit, hence going out of range.

Yeah, I suspected that was what was going on so nice to have my guess confirmed. Thanks for that! Considering all the hype about the blood glucose tracking that FitBit did, this sort of goof is kind of embarrassing but surely should be a simple correction? Wonder if it only affects some users and we’re too small a minority to care about.

Hi

I’m in the UK is this feature available for UK users? How do you use this feature?..

Thanks..

Yup, I'm in the UK - You probably just need to add it to your FitBit App "Today" screen -  top right you'll see an "Edit" button.  Click on that and scroll down, you'll see "Additional Stats" - click Add on the ones you want to add then click "Done" (where the "Edit" button used to be).

Hope this helps 🙂

Just  started recording my glucose levels and that Today # of 90. startled me.    But the 90 divided by 18 is indeed the 5 I put into the tracker so I assumed the app was using the mg/dl instead of my selected mmo/l.

I have same issue. Any resolution?

I got a response via Twitter that basically said “Yeah, we know about it, and there aren’t any plans currently to fix it”. I have another ticket in about a different problem with the Fitbit app and have had no response on that one. I think this will be my last Fitbit.

Mine is the same as above, but now it doesn’t even show on the today screen, just log your glucose. It records them but doesn’t show up on the today screen, I’ve changed it to mg and the results were in the thousands😮

only just renewed my premium and if this doesn’t work, then why am I paying for a service that gives me no results😡 very annoyed
