I downloaded game golf and was able to pick my courses 2 days later it still says to add my courses but now I can't even access the settings to the app

I've had it working for a few weeks now but since the update to version 2 at the weekend I get the blank screen on settings. While I was playing on Sunday it cut out and I had to resume on every hole at least once.

OK This app really starting to piss me off.
I got to finally get into settings.
I added 2 courses and it said " Sync Ionic before transferring courses"
I sync'd watch as instructed, now when I went back into settings, I get the white screen again!
Does anyone know if the developer is even monitoring this thread?
We all are spinning our wheels here

I was able to use the Game Golf app today. All distances were correct, each hole I check with a rangefinder and I determined the front, middle and back readings on my Ionic were acceptable.

Today after I got Game Golf app to work the day before, I tried to download a different golf course. Unfortunately, the setting page white out happened again.

I set his up on my Ionic. Now can't get it to work at all as it says doesn't recognise username and password.also flattened a fully charged watch battery in only a few hours! Not Good!! Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for taking the time to report that you were unable to access the settings within the Game Golf app.
I have forwarded your reports to our product team and they are currently investigating what might be causing this. I will be sure to keep you all posted as more information becomes available.
In the meantime, I recommend logging in/out of the Fitbit app as a few users had reported this as a potential workaround.
As a last resort, you may want to attempt uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit app to get the Game Golf settings working again.
Additionally, if anyone might be able to provide us with a screenshot of what you are experiencing when you attempt to access settings, that would be helpful for our investigation.
Also if you are able to include which version of the Game Golf app you currently have installed, that would be helpful. You can see the version number listed in the App details section, under app description.

Hi Matt, thanks for reply, screenshot for me would be a blank white screen. I am on version 1.0.2. I've tried uninstall install, sign out sign in etc of both fitbit and game golf apps. If you uninstall game golf app leave it a few hours and reinstall then on the initial sign in to the app again it let's you load courses but will tell you to sync app before it sends them. Once you leave the page you can't access settings again and get a white blank page instead.
This is only since the new update. I have managed to load a course on by leaving the settings page open for an hour or two and not touching my phone but on course it only shows a grey course and no distances to bunkers etc only front middle and back distances. Then it crashes so often, at least once a hole it is pretty unusable as far as I'm concerned.
It was working really well before update. No issues at all.

@MattFitbit I think the cause should be investigated into the latest firmware update that might have broken something. In fact there is at least another app in the App Store that previously worked perfectly and after the update doesn't work any longer: World Clock by Pau Thomas. Result is always the same: the setting page has a very empty blank white page.

I installed the Game Golf app with full permissions and applied all app and Fitbit updates, however for the past few weeks, my settings page is completely blank. I've rebooted both devices, uninstalled re-installed, reset permissions. Still blank. I cannot modify settings or add courses.

I played 9 holes yesterday on one of the courses I have managed to load onto my ionic. Turned on game golf on first tee, played my shot and as I walked to the ball I looked at the ionic and the app had crashed already. Didn't bother after that and just used my rangefinder Very disappointed with this app now, it was working so well and since the update 2 weeks ago, no longer works. Just update to the old version 1 for now fitbit, then work it out. Let us use the app that works.

I apologize Matt. I didn't notice your thread replies to this issue. The updates weren't coming to my email cause it want updating due to a password issue.
I scrolled up the threads and saw the replies to this issue.

If you haven't already done so please update the Game Golf app to version 1.0.3.

Hey Matt,
So I managed to sync 2 courses after another reinstall of the app prior to the new update. Played one of the courses Sunday with only a few crashes on the watch but did manage the whole 18 with more info and good accuracy but now I cannot access settings again. Only getting the dreaded white screen. I will try a fresh install again of the app for this week's course and hopefully that will work.
Looks like it's working better but still not great. Appreciate the effort mate
