Hi @Charmam - the Versa 3 doesn't have a side bar button, it has a haptic indentation. You cover it with the fleshy part of a finger or thumb to make it work.

To go back, from many places on the watch, a swipe right of the whole watch face also may do it.

To access apps on the watch swipe the face to the left.

It may be a good idea to also swipe the watch to the right to get to Quick Settings and verify you have wrist wake on and don't have sleep (or do not disturb) on.

Double tapping the watch can also wake it if you have trouble operating the button.

Hi @Charmam, and welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums.

I can confirm that what @Guy_ said is correct. The Versa 3 does not have a side button, it is actually an indentation. With that in mind, I have marked Guy's post as the Best Answer to help other members with the same question.
