We're aware of an issue where you sign in to your Spotify Premium account in the Fitbit app and soon after it reverts you back to the free version.

Hi, Spotify app users!
I have great news! Yesterday, we released an app update to the Spotify app that resolves this issue with Premium subscriptions.
Please go to the Fitbit app and update it to the newest version (1.1.21).

Please can you help, I have recently bought a Versa 2 which I love but I cannot get Spotify to work. I have a premium account and it keeps telling me I have a free account. Tried numerous things but cant get it to work, very disappointed. Help please..

I also have this issue. I do have a Spotify premium account but the Fitbit app says it's a free account for some reason. Have the latest version of the Spotify app for the versa 2. Also tried reinstalling the app without any result.

I would like to try to control music playing on spotify but it says i am "spotify free" user when i have a premium account....

Have read that several times, but the issue remains that the Fitbit app says my Spotify account is "Free" when it is in fact a premium account.
