Txt msg on original Versa

Sitting here looking at my Fitbit dashboard and I received a text on my phone. That reminded me of the first year or so that I had this Versa that it would communicate with my phone and get my text messages. While I missed that feature, in the past I found Fitbit's response to technical questions to be a little light so I didn't pursue the issue. Anyone here have any insight to what happened, and when, to that feature??

Is the problem that you are trying to have the phone send text messages to your original versa?

Exactly. It did that for the first year or so, but stopped. Still using the same phone.

I have a Samsung Note 8. My Versa is three years old and this is the only phone that I've had it connected to. The text msgs. got sent to the phone for about the first year, but not since. I can't even find the menu item on the Versa that set that up originally nor the menu item that would tell me whether or not I had text msgs. to see.

I meant which model of phone are you using?

The issue could be a couple things. Check to see if "do not disturb" is enabled on the Versa. Hold down the button on the left until the quick settings screen shows, then there should show four icons. The top right icon should be a circle with a line through it. Of that is highlighted with a greenish tint that means it is currently enabled and could be why you are not receiving them.
