does the fitbit phone APP (not the device) show the battery % remaining for the device?

Phone app does show device battery %, but only as of the last sync, so not necessarily up-to-date.

Thanks Johnny.  That makes perfect sense.  So, the logical follow-up question then would be:   How often does the APP "auto" sync with the device?  (......ie.....no manual intervention)

Good question, and I don't know answer.  It might try to sync every time you bring fitbit app to forefront on phone, but I'm not sure of that, and sync attempts are not always successful.  Maybe someone else has better answer for that.
