Have worn my Sense 2 for years, with no issues. Last week I took it off to charge and had a large red mark in the shape of the watch.  It progressed to a burn and is a shiny, scabbed circle now. Never felt the watch get hot. Thought maybe it was just me so tried it on the other arm and the same process began. Out of warranty. When a product is near its end, it shouldn’t injure the user. Still charged fine

Has anyone had a red "rash" or spot under their fitbit?  I've had mine since June.

I have been using Fitbit for long time and my last Fitbit was charged. I have never had skin issue with it. I finally upgraded to change 6 and I've been wearing it for only a couple of months now and I have a rash on my wrist. And I did Google search and it seems I'm not the only one. So what's the difference between wrist band that charge 2 had and what charge 6 has now? What is being done about it? Is there an alternate band by google?

Hi @Jpage89 - you may have developed an allergy but regular cleaning might also resolve it.

Depending on type of activities it is possible for sweat and dust to build up and with constant movement create an irritation.

My solution to Charge 6 band skin-irritation is to place a strip of medical micropore tape over the part of the band that irritates. So far, it's stayed in place for weeks (NB I do I take the Charge6 off when showering).

Having followed the instructions regarding cleaning the back regularly and not wearing all the time, I woke up one morning with a severe burn on my wrist when i removed the fitbit. It was the full size of the back of the fitbit. I therefore needed to seek medical advice.

it is now 4 weeks and the burn is still visible. It also means I am unable to wear a watch over it.

I have contacted customer services twice but have not received a response. How do I get a response from Fitbit?

My Versa 3 I have had ages has just burnt my skin while I was asleep. I’ve stopped using it. Does it mean the battery is going and do I need to buy a new Fitbit watch? Or can the battery be replaced?

Hi,

My fitbit sense has died.  I thought the battery had died so I put it on charge, I checked it an hour later and my fitbit was red hot!! I took it off charge and now it won't turn on despite following the instructions of hold the button for 10 secs.  Has this happened to anyone else?
