How to switch off Forum posts?

I've commented on a couple of posts and now continue to get alerts on them.  To be honest I have lost interest in the original topic and want switch off the alerts.

 

Can't see how to do it just for those threads.

 

Any help appreciated.

On the the upper right of each thread, above the top post, there should be something that says "Topic Options."

 

Click on the arrow for the dropdown menu and click on "Unsubscribe."

 

You can also go to settings and change your alerts (for all threads) to weekly or daily, I think.
