Anyone else think $9 a month is a ridiculous amount to pay to see the information from the device we already paid for? I could see paying 12-24 dollars a year, but not $108/year just to access our data. I've been a Fitbit user for many years, but it may be time to change if they continue this business model.

Hi @Ellingda $79.99 for a year if you're not paying monthly.

@Ellingda I agree.
And recently Fitbit Coach has been terminated but the price didn't decrease. People who have been paid the annual subscription have effectlively seen a reduction of the offered service but with no compensation. I personally believe Coach was the only added benefits.

Couldn't agree more. This, along with the struggles of just trying to cancel the premium subscription itself has already left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be purchasing any further Fitbit devices. Pretty sad to see the company they have become. Maybe Google can revamp them in the future, but hopefully, many of us won't be around to find out.

Guess im not alone here having problems to cancel. It seems like that fitbit just takes easy money from the cutomers and walks away.

I find $80 an exorbitant amount of money for an app. You pay enough for the watch itself - "premium" should be included.

Being a senior on a fix budget $80 a year for a "premium" app is crazy. I'm using Fitbit to stay in tune with my health and fitness but I'll just have to be happy with the regular app. Someone is reaping the rewards from that amount of money and it's definitely not us!

My biggest gripe is that the premium features Fitbit offers are available for free in other apps and often also provide more value and/or are implemented better. For example sleep analysis is something most trackers offer for free if they have the logic/support for it.

I will be the contrarian here. Because I was paying separately for Les Mills ($14.99/mo) and Barre3 ($16.58/mo), it’s a good deal for me. I don’t get as many choices of workouts from those two platforms, but there are enough for me.

I agree. Haven't wore mine for months. Just charged it and put it on and the time in not correct. Apparently, they think I have to pay the premium fee to correct the time? I have a lung disease and the steps are literally the only thing I'm interested in. I will throw it away before I pay their premium fee.
