We are a family of Fitbit (6 relatives), all of whom were bout their Fitbits by my wife and I.  My wife used the sleep analyser extensively, however, it now appears Fitbit want to charge subscription for those services!?!

Guess what Fitbit, Christmas is coming and you just lost 6 customers!!!  Will be buying Apple iWatches for the family and having a ceremonial Fitbit smash (with big hammers), which will be videos and posted online to remind greedy consumer electrical providers not to mess with their loyal customers.

Fitbit = Greedy Fat-cats (ironic really!?!?)

Hi @Stthomps  first post on the forums and you're leaving? I'm not sure how it's exploiting someone to ask for a fee for more detailed data. It's no different than being asked to pay more to watch a particular movie that's not included free with Hulu, Vudu or Amazon. Many people use these devices for years with the basic information and have no problem. In your case, it's your wife who needs the extra sleeping data, right? So one out of six people wanted to have the more detailed information. Sorry you're leaving, but why smash the Fitbit devices if they still work? Seems wasteful to me.

It’s not one out of six.  We all use the sleep data.  It was my wife who noticed it first following the recent app update.

as for disposing of the watches, they are now redundant.  Time to move on to new hardware that won’t suddenly start charging fees...
