First let me say I very much like the Fitbit product, but I hate Fitbit labs annoying "Ready to upload your first lab report?" on my home page. First of all, do they really believe people are willing to give them such sensitive and personal information such as labs? Is Fitbit practicing medicine now? Well my short answer is get real; forget about it!
I contacted tech support for assistance in removing this intrusive and unwelcomed request from my homepage. They tried and followed the normal steps to remove something like this, but were able to successfully remove it. What a bummer. The premium subscription has truly headed in the direction. Does anyone know how to remove that annoying ad from the home page? Can one of the programmers remove it please?

@LawnPaul -- yes, they are adding a feature, but what people are mad about, which you apparently have decided we have no right to be mad about, is not the feature itself, it is an opt-in/opt-out banner that does NOT function as intended and does NOT allow you to opt out, or to close the banner. No one is upset about the addition of this "feature;" we're upset about the continued presence of the opt-out banner that continues to take up real estate at the top of the today screen and cannot be closed, moved to a lower position, or responded to with an opt-out.

Yes I totally agree with you. That too is perhaps the most aggravating part. They lead you to believe if you complete a survey they will allow you to get rid of the banner. In fact they add you to some list. That's exactly why I've canceled my subscription. Once it's up I'm letting them go. Again I totally agree with your viewpoint. They say one thing and then do another.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I'm new to the Fitbit Labs chat rooms and may have accidentally pressed best answer, I don't remember. Just to be clear, the problem is not solved and if I accidentally pressed the wrong button I'm sorry. As an update, the banner is still there and I believe it's going to stay there. I personally have canceled my subscription because I don't think it's what I consider a fair practice. Again, I apologize if I hit the box accidentally, but the issue is still occurring. Thank you all for your responses. I hope Fitbit Labs corrects the issue sometime in the near future.

@Diamond-Red I have removed the "Best Answer" from your post, since I think that is what you wanted. I also hope this issue with Fitbit Labs will be fixed soon.
