Help to cancel subscription

I have spent FAR too long trying to cancel this subscription that has automatically renewed from when I purchased my Fitbit - that I have not used in 15 months. I have spoken with Fitbit they told me they can’t cancel it, can’t find my account yet the money has been coming out every month!! I was told it must have been an inapp purchase etc and Fitbit aren’t getting the money so they can’t refund me either. Seems like a big scam my next stop is the bank to A. Stop further payments and B. Find out my options for a refund this seems very underhanded apparently I would have gotten a 12 month free subscription when I bought the watch and it has automatically renewed. I wonder how many other people this has happened too, I thought renewal systems like this were no longer legal?

@Tryingtocancela Have you checked your Google Play or App Store subscriptions? Have you changed the email you used for either your Fitbit account or your phone's app subscriptions?
