How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Hi,

I have bought Fitbit charge couple of month ago, I have made a huge mistake and registered to fitibit premium for the free trial.

Since then I can't cancel the membership, even after calling fitbit customer service no luck.

I haven't used any program or service of fitibit premium but still getting charged.

How can I cancel it?

Hi, @yanivbrb welcome to the community, go to the place you downloaded the Premium app from (Apple or Google) pull up the app and you should be offered the choice to cancel. You will continue to see the premium account until your billing period expires (in fact for a few days after that) at which time it should lockout. You could also go to your card account and cancel the SO/DD through which it is being paid.

Thank you for your suggestions but unfortunately, I have already tried it and both options have failed.

I have called customer service for the second time and hopefully, this will be resolved this time.

It is a shame that a good product has such not effective customer support.

Thanks for taking the time to contact our Support team, as well for following the suggestions shared above. I'm sorry for the experience that you've had so far. As our friend @Gr4ndp4 mentioned, you should be able to cancel your subscription from the App Store or Google Play Store. If any any chance you don't see your subscription, please give a try to the following steps:

 

  1. Open the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture.
  2. Scroll down and tap Account Settings > Manage Subscriptions. Your active subscriptions open in your phone’s app store.
  3. Tap your Fitbit Premium subscription > Cancel Subscription. Note that you won't see this option if you already canceled your subscription. Your subscription expires at the end of your current monthly or yearly subscription term.
