I tapped the sleep guided program to see what it would do. Now I expect to be woken up at least once in the next week (just as I am falling asleep) to be told that it is time to go to bed. Also, although I told the Fitbit I feel great most mornings when I wake up (the truth) the Fitbit this. It still told me that I need more sleep, presumably because I sleep 20 minutes less than others my age.) The fact is that even if I am very tired, I will awaken without my alarm clock in the morning when my decongestant wears off enough that my throat clogs with mucous. Being woken up on the rare morning that my head lets me sleep a little longer will not go over well. My biggest sleep issue is intermittent insomnia caused by Peri-menopause, but since I feel fine the next day (except on the rare occasion that it has repeated on successive nights), my doctor and I have elected not to treat it yet. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything good in the program and lots of potential for bad. I bought the Fitbit to track my RHR, so I don't want to just take it off before bed. (I am hyper-thyroid and knowing my RHR helps me know when my meds need to change.) Is there some way to quit? I've already ended my Premium subscription, but the service will stick around for a bit longer.
