How can I revert from Premium trial to a regular, just fine, Fitbit account?

@jimmycck9 It's nice to see you on the Community. I'll be happy to clarify your inquiry.

If you would like to cancel your Premium trial, please follow these steps:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture.
  2. Scroll down and tap Manage Subscriptions. Your active subscriptions open in your phone’s app store.
  3. Tap your Fitbit Premium subscription > Cancel Subscription. Note that you won't see this option if you already canceled your subscription.

If you cancel your trial, the Premium view will last until your trial has ended.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Thanks, I wondered why, after I’d followed the cancel procedure, my app still said I was on premium.

I followed these steps weeks ago after looking up the forum to check I had followed the right steps. They give the same advice and say that if it's not an option to cancel then it's already cancelled yet, after queueing for the online chat service twice (the first person said she didn't deal with premium), I have now twice been told that my subscription hasn't been cancelled and that in fact I need to speak to someone else. I would recommend emailing them directly as it is a huge issue.

I agree, the website really sucks when it comes to that. I went through google play and had them refund me the first month's charge.

Hi there

I have tried every possible method to quit my premium subscription but it just doesn't seem possible through the app by phone or message.

Is there an email address that I can write to or a telephone number where I can talk to someone.

@jimmycck9 Thanks for getting back. I appreciate that you mentioned you've followed the cancellation procedure. Your app will still show that you're a Premium user because your trial hasn't end. However, if you visit your subscriptions, you'll see that this has been already cancelled.

@Bexjmorris @bprutledg @philty1 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. I appreciate the details mentioned.

The subscription needs to be cancelled from the store that you purchased it from. If you're not seeing the "Manage Subscriptions" option in your Fitbit app, you'll need to visit Apple or Google Store and cancel it from there.

Also, I've noticed that other users have mentioned that they were logged in another Apple or Google account and that's why they didn't see the option to cancel their Fitbit Premium subscription.

Fitbit has many channels of communication, check them out here

I have managed to cancel my *&^%$ Fitbit "Premium" subscription after 1 hour of frustration but...

Since I've signed up for 90 free days, I still have Fitbit Premium on my Android app. It is MUCH worse than the free Fitbit app. How do I revert to the normal, non-Premium app? Please, in fact, I'll pay you to make it go away, it is that bad. and I'm dead serious.

@OubaasCharlie Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.

Sorry to hear that cancelling your subscription took some time. Your feedback about Fitbit Premium is appreciated, we're always striving to improve our services offered.

Fitbit Premium view on your Fitbit app will revert to normal as soon as the Free Trial ends. Thanks for your understanding.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
