Hello, Join me in this beautiful Story.
I purchase the watch and the premium service super excited about all Fitbit offers, not I am not able to keep paying the premium subscription and I asked for a refund from last month because it was just starting, I mean, I asked for a refund the very same day I was charged.
I opened the support ticket #42041464. They send me another way to cancel the subscription from the website using the URL https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/home, then use my credentials, go to Account and Subscriptions.
The problem is that https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/account does not work.. it freezes everytime I try to go there.
I have tried using Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, two different laptops, an iPad, and an android phone, deleting the cache and deleting everything from the browser, without success. the support denies my petition to cancel my subscription, and doesn't want to provide a refund, saying that in the Terms of service it is clear that refunds are not possible. The following is a direct Copy/Paste from the Terms of Service:
No Refunds on Subscriptions. When you cancel a Subscription, you cancel only future charges for your Subscription. You will not receive a refund for the current Subscription Term you paid for, but you will continue to have full access to that Subscription until the end of that current Subscription Term. At any time for any reason, we may provide a refund, discount, or other consideration (“credits”) to some or all of our users. The amount and form of such credits, and the decision to provide them, are at our sole and absolute discretion. The provision of credits in one instance does not entitle you to credits in the future for similar instances, nor does it obligate us to provide credits in the future
Every day I keep trying to cancel my subscription, and I was a little curious:
I tried to enter to the same page in different languages:
https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/account -> is frozen
https://www.fitbit.com/global/es/account -> doesn't exist
https://www.fitbit.com/global/fr/account -> doesn't exist
https://www.fitbit.com/global/it/account -> doesn't exist
Even the option to go to "My account" is not there. It is almost like a Joke, I would like to press charges but I don't live in the US, I cannot believe the bad time I have spent with the customer service from FitBit, I have provided Screenshots, Snippets from Terms and Services asked to call me to do a live demonstration, and they deny everything. The only thing for me to do is to cancel my card. But first I will leave this note everywhere I can.
