Sleep stages stopped reporting

Hi,

As of Monday 30th Sept 2024, my Fitbit premium app has stopped reporting the useful sleep data of “deep sleep”, “REM”, “light sleep” and “awake”. It now reports sleep, restlessness and awake. Totally useless data as far as I’m concerned as it now says I’m only asleep for a couple of hours a night and the rest is restlessness with a couple of minutes awake.

How do I get back the old format that was useful. If this is an update - it’s useless.

I have learned now that the morning I wake up with that, I have to reboot my watch, unintall/reintall the Pixel Watch and FitBit apps, and it works the next night. If I do all 3 things, it seems to work. It's gone down about 3-4 more times since my last post and I did those things and it helped.

I wish I knew what it was. But you are right - this forum is a waste of time. No word from FitBit/Google, just a rant for us to get through our day. These tech companies have lost sight of who their base is - US.

Mine finally worked on it's own, I remember having a lot of issues with previous Pixel watch and it was treated as user error. With this one I had the sleep issues and not giving me the days for several days. You all were more helpful than customer service, which is sad.

I got an update on the watch yesterday and after that, the sleep reporting started to work as expected again, so, I believe the issues have to do with out-of-step updates on the phone and watch. It surely would be nice if Google bothered to tell us what's happening. The silence here is astounding.

Deep sleep is an important component of your rest. It's the time where the brain cleanses itself of Tau and Beta entanglements which leads to dementia. following your deep sleep patterns is an important thing to know. I'll be switching sleep monitors soon if this doesn't change quickly.

Mine disappeared 3/27. Still not working. Checked all the updates. Hope it resolves soon. Quite annoying!

Mine returned recently after my last post. Currently working fine. I don't
think it was anything that I did that brought it back. Good luck with
yours, I am again a happy fitbit user.
